Locally produced hand-crafted Olive Oils, Artisan cheeses and micro-breweries offer visitors a unique taste of San Luis Obispo County.
The county has become a major producer of premium gourmet olive oils, featuring the different varities of olives, and also offering oils infused with with lemon, orange, tangerine and lime. There is a large fun festival dedicated to all things olive in Paso Robles every August. (This also offers a great selection of gourmet vinegars to complement the oils.)
